Bob Ewert founded Abode Building Center in 1981. From its early years as a building-materials business, Abode built its reputation by knowing the products, explaining the choices, and paying attention to the details that can make or break a project.
Over the decades, Abode has grown into a specialty home center for kitchens, bathrooms, countertops, windows, entry doors, and garage doors. Products and styles have changed, but the way we serve customers has remained refreshingly consistent: listen carefully, give honest guidance, and help people choose what makes sense for their homes.
